PHOTOCOPYING SERVICE
Self-service photocopying facility is available. The photocopy cards can be bought at the Circulation and Information Counter for RM10.00. Please get assistance from the library staff on duty.

INTER-LIBRARY LOANS AND DOCUMENT DELIVERY SERVICES
Users who make requests for inter-library loans are asked to check the library catalogue (OPAC).  If items are not in the catalogue,

users will fill out the ILL form and supply as much as information as possible as required on the form as this helps to expedite the

process of location and delivery. The Library staff will locate the item for you.

The procedures:

1.

ILL is a book or photocopied materials supplied by other libraries for use by Curtin Sarawak staff and students.

2.

The ILL system allows staff and postgraduate students only to request material from other libraries.

3.

Requests for all materials can be made by completing ILL Books/Articles Request Form (available at the Circulation and Information Counter). Upon receiving the materials you need to complete a User Agreement Form.

4.

The cost and charges involved in the request of ILL items vary, depending on the item type, level of service and location of the item.

5.

The Library and Information Services will cover charges of materials that are used for Research & Development or Teaching & Learning purposes except when requested by a researcher who is a recipient of a research grant.

6.

For personal use, the staff member as levied by the supplier will cover the cost and charges incurred.

7.

Any student who needs books or articles from other libraries, cost and charges will be borne by the student.

8.

Students and staff will be responsible for the charges of overdue fees, loss and damage of materials.

INFORMATION CONSULTANCY SERVICES
The Library also offers advisory services to users who need assistance with locating materials or on-line facilities. There is a staff

member on duty to assist you. Please consult library staff at the Reference Service Counter.

INFORMATION SKILLS TRAINING
To assist students and staff to build skills in accessing and utilising the information effectively, the Library provides range of information skills classes on an ongoing basis. The Library will conducts information skills training which includes; how to access GECKO,

E-books, E-Reserves, A-Z list of E-Journals, Past Year Exam Papers, Australian Digital Theses, espace@Curtin, and Reference

Resources on the Internet. Check the Information Skills Training Timetable for a particular date and time of classes available.

The classes will be conduct at Level 1, Library Computer Area. To book a place in a class, please fill in a Training Request Form,

which is available at the Information and Circulation Counter.
