External Membership

 

For outsiders who wish to use Curtin Sarawak Campus Library, you may apply to become an external member.

Membership category and annual external membership fee and charges:

Students from other Institutions of Higher Learning RM15 (Registration Fee), RM30.00 (Annual Fee)
*RM200 Deposit for 2 Books
Corporate Members
Membership (User) - 5 registered members
RM100 (Registration Fee), RM500 (Annual Fee)
*RM600 Deposit for 3 books
Curtin Alumni RM25 (Registration Fee), RM30.00 (Annual Fee)
*RM400 Deposit for 2 Books
*To have access to a selected electronic databases, please register as Alumni Library membership with Curtin Alumni Relations Office

Application Procedures and Rules

#

Fill out the External Library Membership form and pay the necessary fees.

#

Registration fee and annual membership fee need to be paid on the registration day.

#

Deposit is to be paid once only and it is applicable to those who wish to borrow books.

#

The borrowing entitlement is for two (2) ordinary loan books for a period of two (2) weeks.

#

External members are not able to borrow Closed Reserved Collection materials.

#

Please note that due to license restrictions, only Curtin University Sarawak staff and students may access to AV collection or online databases.

#

The overdue charge is RM0.50 per day, per item.

#

Self-service photocopying facility is available. The photocopy cards can be bought at the Circulation and Information Counter at RM10.00.

#

All external borrowers are required to comply with the Library's Rules and regulations, copies of which are displayed in and available from, the Library and the Library's website.
